Somalia Declares Drought Emergency

Federal Government of Somalia formally declared a drought emergency on 10th November.

Government reported that conditions are very severe across northern, central and southern regions.

Puntland is among the worst affected areas, where authorities estimate that nearly one million people need support, including 130,000 in immediate life-threatening need.
