NATIONAL ANUBHAV AWARDS SCHEME, 2025

On the directions of the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India, Department of Pension &Pensioners' Welfare had launched an online platform entitled ‘Anubhav’ in March 2015for sharing the experiences of retiring/retired government employees while working withthe Government. It is a scheme for retiring/retired employees to showcase theirsignificant achievements made during service period. It is envisaged that over a periodof time, this will create a wealth of institutional memory with replicable ideas andsuggestions. This will prove an invaluable tool for helping in future governance relatedissues, since a treasure trove of experiences shall be left behind by the retiringgenerations of government employees and officers. 

Thereafter, an Annual Awards Scheme to incentivize and encourageretiring/retired employees to submit their experiences through write ups was introducedin 2015. Till date, 59 Anubhav Awards and 19 Jury Certificates have been conferred.Further, to encourage and inspire the retirees, DOPPW conducts Anubhav Awardees’ Speak - a webinar series every month. Hitherto, 16 webinars have been held in which19 Awardees have presented their experiences.

The employees of Central Government and Central Public SectorUndertakings (CPSUs) including Public Sector Banks who are going to retire in next 8months or who have retired within 3 years are the ‘eligible employees’ for the submission ofAnubhav write ups. All the Anubhav write ups published on the Anubhav Portal between theperiod 1st April, 2024 and 31st March, 2025 will be considered for the Anubhav Awards/JuryCertificates, 2025.

Interstellar Space: Interstellar space is often called the space between the stars, but more specifically, it’s the region between our Sun’s heliosphere and the astrospheres of other stars. Our heliosphere is a vast bubble of plasma – a gas of charged particles – that spews out of the Sun. This outflow is known as the solar wind. The bubble surrounds the Sun and stretches beyond the planets. Both Voyager spacecraft had to travel more than 11 billion miles (17 billion kilometers) from the Sun in order to cross the edge of the heliosphere. This bubble is moving through interstellar space as the Sun orbits the center of the Milky Way galaxy. ISRO developing semi-cryogenic engine working on LOX Kerosene propellant

ISRO is developing a 2000 kN thrust semi-cryogenic engine working on an LOX Kerosene propellant combination for enhancing the payload capability of LVM3 and for future launch vehicles. Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC) is the lead centre for the development of semi-cryogenic propulsion systems with the support of other launch vehicle centres of ISRO. The assembly and testing of the propulsion modules were done at the ISRO propulsion complex (IPRC), Mahendragiri. As part of the engine development, a pre-burner ignition test article, which is a full complement of the engine power head system excluding the turbopumps is realized. The first ignition trial was conducted successfully on May 2, 2024, at semi cryo integrated engine test facility (SIET) at IPRC, Mahendragiri, which was dedicated to the nation recently by the honorable Prime Minister of India.
