Ane Maersk - World’s Largest Methanol-Powered Container Ship

It will be the first of AP Moller-Maersk’s 18 large methanol-enabled vessels that will be delivered between 2024 and 2025.

Ship specifications:

  1. 350 meters long, 53.3 meters wide
  2. 16,592 TEU (twenty-foot-equivalent).
  3. The engine, provided by MAN Energy Solutions, is a Dual-fuel engine which can can run on methanol & marine fuels manufactured by MAN Energy Solutions. The same applies to the auxiliary engines.
