Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (Gerd)

It is the Africa's biggest hydroelectric power project to date. It is constructed by Ethiopia across The River Nile. Nile water is shared between Ethiopia, Egypt and Sudan. Sudan and Egypt allege that dam will reduce the total water available from Nile.
